"I am enormously proud of the students for organising this event.
"The pandemic has taken a toll on many and its really good to see the students having the experience of organising an event and managing to raise huge funds for such a great cause that offers vital support to so many people dealing with cancer.
"The students have managed to raise £1,000 already and there’s still chance to contribute if you weren’t able to make the event by going to our gofundme – Santa-Sunday page.
"We are enormously grateful to Open Newtown, Newtown Park Run, Severn Trophies, Border Janitorial Supplies and Wildwood Ludlow for supporting the event”
