Welshpool pupils will be spreading a bit of Christmas cheer this week by singing carols in town to raise lots of money for a special cause.
Starting today (Monday), Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School will be singing in various locations throughout the week, including care homes and supermarkets.
Locals are invited to support the youngsters by donating to their chosen charity, Save the Children.

Lorna Tuffin, Deputy Headteacher, said: "The week will culiminate in a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday. In preparation for this, at the end of the school day on Wednesday, all pupils will have the opportunity to 'swap' their Christmas jumpers that may no longer fit them for a different one as part of their recycle and reuse initiative to tackle Climate Change."
