TRANSPORT For Wales (TfW) has announced that all services have been suspended because of Storm Arwen, with no rail replacement buses available, meaning thousands may be left stranded.
In an announcement on its journey checker, but not on its Facebook or Twitter social media channels, TfW has added that it is advising customers not to travel because of the severity of the storm.
That means that passengers looking to reach Cardiff, Wrexham, Aberystwyth and across the border into Chester or Shrewsbury, will have to travel by road during an amber weather warning.
Arwen arrived in the UK in the early evening of Friday and has caused carnage already, with a number of trees blocking roads across Mid Wales and north Shropshire.
There have also been a number of power cuts across the area with lines being brought down by the weather.
