I am a frequent traveller on the 10.42 train from Newtown to Shrewsbury. I didn’t think the service could get any worse than it was under Arriva but since Transport for Wales took over control the service has reached new levels of lateness.
My train on Thursday, November 18 arrived 35 minutes late. This is intolerable. I wonder what a Freedom of Information request would reveal? Probably that the 10.42 Newtown service between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury is the worst in the UK.
