BUILTH’S Greyhound Hotel will be hosting a Bodyshop party on Thursday, November 25.
Money raised will go to help the Joseph Hulk Smash cancer group. The event starts at 7pm with new Christmas gifts available and stocking fillers, as well as Christmas games.
All funds go to help superhero-obsessed Joseph Yeandle, who has ties to the Builth area. Joseph, who is just three, is battling a rare yet aggressive form of childhood cancer called stage four high-risk neuroblastoma.
His mother Katy teaches at Ysgol Calon Cymru’s Builth campus, with staff members having previously put on fundraisers in Builth during the year.
The fantastic fundraising from local people and businesses in Builth has helped launch Joseph’s total to over £120,000 so far. You can read more and donate to the cause at https://www.solvingkidscancer.org.uk/helpjoseph or text HELPJOSEPH and your amount (£1-£20) to 70085.
