IN line with the latest Welsh Government guidelines, all Wyeside Arts Centre customers aged 18 and over will need to show a valid NHS Covid Pass before being allowed in for a show.

A Covid pass or proof of a negative lateral flow test which has been taken within 24 hours of the start of the event they’re attending is mandatory for all film and satellite screenings.

For Live events Wyeside chiefs say they will require an NHS Covid Pass and certification from a negative lateral flow test – this is to maximise the safety of customers, staff and enable them to be open at full capacity, without which live events would be financially unsustainable.

It is recommended that you get your 72-hour domestic NHS Covid Pass at least 24 hours (48 hours if using the 30 day pass) before the event you plan on attending as there can be delays during busy periods.

Vaccination cards will not be accepted.

Measures the venue has in place for all events include: all tickets must be pre-booked, no entry will be permitted without a prior booking; online booking will close two hours before an event; Wyeside are required to collect customer details for Test & Trace purposes. On arrival they will check they have the right details for your group; wearing a face covering/mask in all areas of the building is always essential; card and contactless payments are encouraged at the bar.

You can order lateral flow test for free online but you will need to allow at least two working days for them to arrive. You can also collect lateral flow test in person locally from Builth Wells Library at Antur Gwy, Park Road; Llandrindod Wells Library, The Gwalia; or Rhayader Library, West Street.

Alternatively, you can use the postcode finder https://maps.test-and-trace.nhs.uk/ to find your nearest supplier.

“We appreciate that attending an event in this way may not be for everyone, but we are following the latest Welsh guidelines for the benefit and safety of our customers, staff, volunteers and visiting artists,” said Wyeside in a statement.

“If you’d prefer not to come along at this time we understand and will issue a refund for any tickets purchased prior to this change (subject to terms and conditions).”

All cinema screenings will continue on a socially distanced basis for the foreseeable future.

All ticket bookings will need to be made online and must be done at least an hour before the start time of the event you intend to see. Seats will be unallocated and issued on arrival to ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to.

Group bookings are limited to six tickets and Wyeside are unable to issue tickets in person at the box office.

Phone the box office on 01982 552555 or email boxoffice@wyeside.co.uk. Tickets will be available 24 hours a day via the website or over the phone during opening hours (Friday 7pm-8pm and Saturday-Sunday 3pm-8pm).
