Rhayader Town moved off the foot of the Ardal South East League with a 3-0 win at home to Abertillery Excelsiors.

A first-half littered with bookings for both clubs ended with Tommy Rowlands breaking the deadlock on the stroke of the interval.

Rowlands completed his double after the break before setting up Ryan Addison to complete the scoring late on.

Elsewhere Elliot Williams netted twice as Llandrindod Wells hit back to complete a 3-1 win at home to Newport City to revive their campaign.

Dean Clifford broke the deadlock for the Gwent visitors before Williams hit back with two goals for the Spamen and Jack Evans completed the scoring at the death.

Meanwhile Carno proved no match for Cefn Albion with two goals each from James Jones and Alex Williams settling a 4-0 win in the Ardal North East League.

Caersws made light work of Four Crosses in an 8-2 rout at Foxen Manor with Jake Parr leading the way with a hat-trick.

Glynn Coney netted twice while Neil Mitchell, Luke Mumford and Luke Evans completed the tally while Will Howard and Graham Dyke netted consolations for the hosts.

Elsewhere Welshpool Town staged a comeback to prevail 5-2 winners at Kerry.

The Lambs led through Daryl McWatt and Ethan Holloway before Pool hit back with two goals from Ryan Knott and strikes from Josh Lenc, Adam Knott and Luke Thomas.

Llanfair United also staged a stunning comeback to stun Berriew 5-3 at Mount Field.

Two goals from Drew Cook and a Jack Williams strike gave Berriew an interval lead with Ryan McVeagh replying for the hosts.

However United stormed back after the break with Josh Astley, Max McLaughlin and Nyasha Mwamuka goals giving their side the lead before McLaughlin completed his double late on.
