Festival organisers have announced that it will return to Llanidloes next year for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

The Wool and Willow Festival marks its return to the town to celebrate artists from Wales and the borders.

The event was cancelled this year and in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Minerva Centre will host the four-week festival between Saturday, June 4, and Saturday, July 2.

A Wool and Willow Festival spokesperson said:"Sadly, we have had to cancel the Wool and Willow Festival for 2020 and 2021, but we have already planned a bigger and better Festival for 2022, which includes 30 exhibitors of which eight are new to the event.

They added: "Come and visit for a celebration of natural fibres, wool, willow and amazing craftsmanship."
