THE Albert Hall Theatre in Llandrindod Wells is proud to have been chosen to take part in a global event to celebrate local theatre.

Under the banner of ‘All Together Now’, Music Theatre International have given an exclusive chance to produce and perform featured songs from their beloved shows, entirely free of charge to license with no royalty or rental fees. The global event will bring together and help small theatres raise much needed funds and bring people back into our theatres to see live music and performances again.

The musical revue will feature songs from Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Matilda, Hairspray, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, My Fair Lady, Jekyll and Hyde, Sister Act, Rent and others.

The show will be directed by committee member Ben Williams, whose idea it was for the hall to take part, and will be performed by members of the committee, local cast and crew.

“The Albert Hall is proud to be the only venue in Powys taking part in what promises to be a very magical weekend,” said a spokesperson for the theatre.

“So, we look forward to welcoming you all back into our lovely theatre and your chance to take part in a global event.”

Performances will take place on Friday, November 12, at 7.30pm and Saturday, November 13, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
