Newtown v Caernarfon Town - JD Cymru Premier (Saturday, 5.15pm)

NEWTOWN could go second with victory over Caernarfon Town in Saturday's JD Cymru Premier match of the day.

With leaders TNS and second placed Flint Town United going head to head the previous evening anything but a victory for the Deesiders would see Newtown climb to second on Saturday.

Standing in their way is Caernarfon Town who will bid to avenge last season's play-off final defeat at their own ground.

The Robins go into the game unbeaten in three games while the Canaries have a mixed record, losing, drawing and winning one each of their past three games.

Guilsfield v Colwyn Bay - JD Cymru North (Saturday, 2.30pm)

TEN points separate the second placed Guils and sixth placed Colwyn Bay.

However both sides will go into the game on a high having secured their places in the quarter-finals of the JD Welsh Cup last week.

With both clubs having applied for promotion this match could go a long way to deciding both club's league trajectory this campaign.

The Guils are unbeaten in the league this season but Bay have a mixed record with five wins and five defeats this term.

Kerry v Caersws - Ardal North East (Saturday, 12pm)

KERRY bid to get their season back on track after last week's heavy defeat at Penparcau when Caersws visit Dolforgan Park.

The Bluebirds go into the game as favourites on the back of a three match unbeaten record.

However Kerry always provide a test at Dolforgan Park but will need to tighten their defence which has conceded a staggering 73 goals in just 13 league games this season.

Abermule v Newtown Wanderers - MMP-NL Mid Wales League East (Saturday, 2.30pm)

DERBY day at the Community Centre Field sees Newtown Wanderers make the short trip up the A483.

These sides are so close geographically you could walk from Newtown to Abermule's ground via the old canal path.

However on the pitch Mule are head and shoulders the favourites in second place in the table and just one defeat this season while Wanderers are still getting to grips with senior football.

Brecon Corries v Knighton Town - MMP-NL Mid Wales League East (Saturday, 2.30pm)

TOP of the table Brecon face one of their sternest tests of the season as Knighton Town visit Rich Field

The Corries are unbeaten and favourites but Mark Jones' Knighton Town side are capable of upsetting the odds having lost just once this season and with games in hand on the leading pack.
