ADAM Biggs came off the bench to save Carno a point in a thrilling Ardal North East League 3-3 draw at home to Welshpool Town.

A solitary strike from Joe Morris gave the hosts an interval lead but Pool hit back to lead through goals from Ryan Knott and Joshua Lenc early in the second-half.

Jack Orbell levelled for Carno only for Knott to add his second as Pool looked to have done enough to claim victory only for Biggs to save the day for the Greens at the death.

Meanwhile Sion Ewart starred with four goals as Bow Street stormed to a 5-1 win at Corwen.

James Whitney completed the scoring for the Magpies while Kevin Day netted a consolation for the hosts who ended with 10 men following the dismissal of Scott Evans.

A Robert Evans double inspired Dolgellau AA to a 2-1 win over Penycae at Cae Marian with Jaden Jones replying for the visitors.

Elsewhere Kerry celebrated a 3-2 victory at home to Machynlleth just a week after shipping 14 goals at Chirk.

Phil Jones gave the Maglonians a sixth minute lead but the Lambs hit back through Tai Jones' penalty on the stroke of half-time.

Ishmael Ozdemir gave Kerry the lead early in the second-half before Mike Straw levelled on the hour.

However Kerry were not to be denied and secured victory through Chris Carroll's 75th minute winner.

Penparcau slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to league leaders Chirk AAA in a match which saw both sides end with 10 men.

The Colliers lead through Dale Davies before Andy Gittins hit back for the hosts.

Despite the dismissal of Jack Edwards the visitors regained their lead after the break with Matty Williams on target before Adam Williams added a third on the hour.

Stef Antoniazzi saw red for Arky late on as Chirk headed home with the spoils.

Meanwhile Llanfair United maintained the pressure at the top with a 3-2 win at Rhos Aelwyd.

James Haynes fired Rhos into an early lead only for United to hit back and lead thanks to a double from Josh Astley with Max McLaughlin adding a third in the second-half.

Aled Parry replied for the home side but United were not to be denied and returned to mid Wales with three points.
