FANS of cheesy 90s anthems and DJ Jo Whiley in Powys will have to wait for a stroll down memory lane after an October show in Mid Wales was postponed.

Jo Whiley 90s Anthems was due to be held at Llandrindod Wells’ Pavilion Mid Wales on Saturday, October 16, as part of a huge sell out UK tour – but organisers have had to push back the event to next year.

The show will instead be going head on March 25, 2022, at the same venue.

Pavilion chiefs said they were informed late on Thursday evening by the event promoter that the show would be postponed and rescheduled due to circumstances outside of their control.

A message from the DJ said: “I'm so sorry we are having to change the date of my 90s Anthems show in Llandrindod Wells, but I CANNOT WAIT to come and party in Mid Wales next year.

“Friday 25th March we are going to turn it up and hit the dance floor hard. Bring it on Wales. I can't wait to see you down the front.”

A spokesperson for the Pavilion events team said: “We are gutted this show has been postponed and we apologise to our customers for the inconvenience this decision may cause.

“In the meantime, we have made the decision to put on the two local DJ's for a party night on October 16 as a FREE event for ticket holders.

“This will not affect your original tickets for the Jo Whiley show, which will remain valid for the new date in March.”

All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date of Friday, March 25, 2022. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, or wish to obtain a refund, contact your original point of purchase.

The evening is set to bring you all the best tracks from the greatest decade for music; think Blur vs Oasis, Fatboy Slim, Primal Scream, The Verve, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, The Prodigy and a whole lot more. Whether you were living it large in the 90s, wish it was still the 90s, or can’t quite remember the decade, take a trip down memory lane.
