A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences near Newtown.
Dyfed Powys Police's roads officers stopped and searched a Ford vehicle near the town on Thursday, September 23 evening and discovered "a large quantity" of cannabis.
They said on Twitter: "This vehicle was stopped this evening near to Newtown.
"Vehicle and driver searched under the misuse of drugs act. A large quantity of cannabis located during the search.
"Driver arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply."
