A range of farming machinery and implements are set to go under the hammer near Churchstoke in what auctioneers have described as a "proper traditional sale".

Auctioneers Halls have been instructed by John Banks, trading as J & D Livestock, to conduct what they say is a "most interesting" dispersal sale at Wenallt Farm, Pentrenant, Churchstoke on Friday, September 24.

Viewing will be permitted from midday on the day of the sale, with the sale getting underway at 3pm.

"This is a proper traditional Farm Sale with something on offer for all, with Genuine Farm Machinery & implements comprising extensive Calf, Sheep and Pheasant rearing equipment, we will also have the pleasure to offer 150 Breeding Ewes and 200 Store lambs," said a Halls spokesperson.

"John & Donna would also like to invite all those that attend their sale to enjoy a Drink and Hog Roast after the sale donations kindly requested to the Air Ambulance. "

Items going under the hammer include a John Deere 2850 tractor and a Sanderson Loadall telehandler, along with a host of other machinery and sundries.

A livestock sale will take place following the machinery sale, to include approximately 150 Breeding Ewes and 200 Store Lambs.
