A haul of suspected illegal tobacco products has been seized on the roads of Powys this afternoon (Saturday 18).
The Dyfed-Powys Roads Policing Unit say a quantity of tobacco products were recovered during a vehicle stop carried out on behalf of Wales Trading Standards.
They say the investigation into the goods is ongoing.
Recent statistics say the illegal tobacco market makes up 15% of all tobacco sales in Wales – the highest in the UK.
Anyone with information on illegal cigarettes is asked to contact the Crimestoppers hotline anonymously on 0800555111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org.
