Organisers of the Llanidloes’ first Pumpkin Festival have revealed the winners of the logo competition for Llanidloes Primary School pupils
The winning designs by Isabella Harrison, Morgan Sarson, Dorothy Riley, Dillys Coleridge, and Sophia Hawkins winning designs will be printed onto postcards. All five will each be presented with a prize at the festival held next month.
A spokesperson for the Pumpkin Festival said: “The judges selected these winning entries as they showed themes of community, locality, diversity and of course the joy of pumpkins.”
School children were asked to design a logo for the inaugural event that will be held on October 23. The festival will take place on the streets of Llanidloes where there will be music, art, cookery demonstrations and family activities throughout the day.
