Huge wind turbine blades travelled along the Newtown Bypass on their way to the Hendy Wind Farm in mid Powys.
Police escorted the convoy of two lorries carrying the 30-metre blades from Ellesmere Port to the site in Penybont near Llandrindod Wells.

The wind turbine components will be transported every weekday between 9.30am to 5pm until October 1.
Wind farm owner Njord Energy said the project will provide enough power annually to fuel 9,800 homes.
