NFU Cymru members in Brecon and Radnorshire will be attending their first in-person county meeting since before the pandemic later this month.
Members are invited to the meeting, which will take place on Monday, September 13, at 7.30pm. It will be held in the International Pavilion on the Royal Welsh Showground, in Llanelwedd, just outside Builth Wells, with all current Covid-19 guidelines and social distancing rules to be adhered to.
NFU Cymru county chairman for Brecon and Radnorshire, Geraint Watkins said: “For too long we have waited for the opportunity to meet in person, and I am extremely pleased that for our first face-to-face meeting we will have NFU Cymru president John Davies in attendance to discuss the issues currently affecting the agricultural sector.
“We will also have updates from our commodity board representatives, as well as all the latest information on application windows and the BPS payment window for this year. I am looking forward to seeing you all there and catching up on the last 18 months.”
All members who want to attend the meeting are asked to register with the NFU Cymru office by calling 01982 554200.
