THE New Saints maintained their 100 per cent start to the season after an entertaining Park Hall victory against Caernarfon Town.

The Saints took the lead with just five minutes gone when Chris Marriott’s corner was met by Danny Davies in the middle of the area to head past Jakub Ojrzynski.

The lead did not last long as 13 minutes later Danny Gosset restored parity.

The frantic start continued and five minutes later TNS regained their lead with a cushioned header from Blaine Hudson met by Declan McManus from close range.

Louis Bradford scored his first goal for the club in the 29th minute after another corner from Marriott caused chaos in the visiting goalmouth.

went close to adding a second while Louis Robles had also went close before the end of the half.

Leo Smith fired over for the hosts while Rob Hughes fired narrowly wide at the other end as the Canaries reminded their hosts of their threat.

Caernarfon were back in the game after 67 minutes when he seized upon a loose pass from Danny Davies to lash past Paul Harrison.

The Saints restored their two goal cushion just seven minutes later with Hudson steering home after Adrian Cieslewicz’s free-kick came back off the near post.

However the Canaries hit back again when Thomas completed his brace.

Any jangling nerves in the home ranks were settled deep into injury time when Ashley Baker headed home following a corner to ensure no way back for Caernarfon.
