A LARGE quantity of sheep have been stolen from the Builth Wells area, according to police.
Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team tweeted that 35 sheep in total – 12 ewes and 23 lambs – have gone missing from the Llanddewir'r Cwm area, just outside Builth.
“SHEEP THEFT - Powys Rural Crime Team are investigating the theft of 12 ewes and 23 lambs, from the Llanddewir'r Cwm area, near Builth Wells,” said police.
“Breed: Welsh Brecknock Hill Cheviot and one Balwen ewe and lamb. Pitch marked with a black ‘W’ upon sides.”
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Dyfed Powys Police on 101.
