Brecon Corries staged a JD Welsh Cup upset with a 3-0 win at home to Ardal South East League side Llandrindod Wells.

Dale Evans and James Jeffreys goals gave the Corries an interval lead before Joel Evans settled the outcome with 20 minutes remaining.

Meanwhile Bow Street celebrated a comfortable 4-1 win at Presteigne thanks to a Shaun Wyn Jones double and goals from Llyr Davies and Sion Ewart before Matt Strangwood netted a consolation.

Penparcau also made light work of Tywyn Bryncrug thanks to two goals each from Liam Jaques and Ryan Edwards in a 4-0 win at Tywyn Bryncrug.

Elsewhere Aberaeron proved too strong for Builth Wells with goals Gary Lewis, Ryan Jenkins and Jamie Owen inspiring a 3-1 win at home to Builth Wells.

Llansantffraid Village enjoyed better fortunes in the cup, prevailing 4-1 winners at home to Welshpool Town following a 2-2 draw.

Goals from James Clewlow and Ricky Litchfield gave Welshpool the lead before a Dale Evans penalty early in the second-half reduced the arrears and Shane Kriek completed the Saints' comeback late on.

Jake Harris kept his head to net the winning penalty in the shoot-out after Litchfield and Clewlow missed from the spot for Pool.

However Four Crosses' Welsh Cup journey came to and end with a 4-1 defeat at home to Llanfair United.

Josh Astley led the scoring for United with Nyasha Mwamuka and Nathan Hughes also on target to seal their progress while a Tom Gregory own goal reduced the arrears.

Elsewhere Llanymynech hosted Caersws in their first ever Welsh Cup tie at Station Road with the visitors marching to a 6-0 victory.

Luke Mumford netted inside the opening half hour with a Luke Evans double and goals from Matt Mumford and Rhydian Davies completing the scoring.

Meanwhile Dolgellau failed to recover from a nightmare opening in a 3-0 defeat at Penrhyndeudraeth with a Steven Jones double and Huw Quaeck goal inside the opening 12 minutes settling the tie.
