The funeral of a Welshpool war veteran is set to be held in the town today (July 21).
Elvet Davies, originally from Cemmaes, died in the early hours of June 28, aged 104.
A service is set to be held at Capel Cymraeg, Welshpool, this afternoon.
Mr Davies' family have asked that rather than flowers if anyone would like to, they can make a donation to either Blind Veterans UK or Welshpool Medical Centre via R G Peate Funeral Services, Calkirk Buildings, 7 Salop Road, Welshpool SY21 7EG
