More than 150 pupils from Newtown's Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd put their best foot forward and went outdoors to raise money for a special little boy.
Dougie, four, a pupil at the school, is in Germany receiving proton beam therapy after undergoing major surgery to remove a tumour in his brain.
'Walk for Dougie' took place on Wednesday (July 14) and it involved the whole school with the littlest learners walking in Newtown and the older pupils rambling along the Montgomery Canal Path.

Dougie's sister, Rene, said: "Me and my little brother are a bit lonely without Dougie because he is the sun of the family. He just shines upon all of us and makes our family fun and proud."
Year Five and Six had set themselves the challenge to walk more than 15.7 miles from Welshpool to Newtown. The school has raised more than £2,500 from generous donations which will help fund Dougie’s treatment.
Deputy headteacher Darryn Green said: "The school was rocked about two or three months ago when the family said that Dougie had a malignant tumour in his brain. We were all totally devastated by the news.
"Some of the Year Five girls, Rene's friends, decided to think of a fundraising event and we thought then as staff and as children why not really challenge ourselves because they are going through a challenging time and little Dougie is going through a very challenging time himself."
Evan, a pupil at Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd, added: "We are very passionate about this and we will walk as much as we want even if it takes all day and all night. We will walk for Dougie any day."
