A collection of jewellery, artworks and sculptures are set to go on display at a free pop-up event in Berriew next week.

Andrew Logan’s collection of wearable art, alongside the sculptures and mirrored artworks he is best known for, will be on display at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture on Saturday, July 17 between 3pm and 6pm.

The museum is celebrating its 30th year of being a visitor attraction while the official ‘Pearl Anniversary’ will take place on Sunday, August 29, organisers say this pop-up event provides an opportunity to view the museum for free and admire Andrew’s work, both large and small.

Andrew’s team will be showcasing his hand crafted jewellery including brooches, rings, earrings and necklaces which are usually available to purchase online.

Guests also have the opportunity to view his one-of-a-kind pieces of miniature, wearable art with several pieces on special offer. In addition, the museum gift shop has a selection of T-shirts, mugs, tea-towels and Alternative Miss World memorabilia available and visitors will be offered free glass of sparkly to complement their afternoon’s experience.

Andrew Logan said: "I am delighted to be holding this event, it has been wonderful to see visitors returning to the museum and I like to think that my jewellery is a way that visitors can take a small piece of joy away with them, in the form of my wearable sculpture."

"The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture team look forward to welcoming you to the jewellery pop up event which it is hoped will take place outdoors at the entrance to the Museum. "

Organisers say it is "strongly advised" that you pre-book an hour time slot in advance to enable numbers to be monitored, particularly if inclement weather requires the event to be staged inside the museum.
