Staff and pupils at a Powys school have been sent home after a Covid-19 case was identified at the school.
A statement from Powys County Council said test and trace enquiries were now being carried out while children and their teachers self-isolated.
A spokesperson for the council said: "The council and Powys Teaching Health Board have been informed of an initial positive COVID-19 case at Guilsfield Primary School.
"Preliminary enquires are now being carried out a part of Test Trace Protect.
"As a precautionary measure, staff and pupils at the school have been advised to self-isolate while these enquiries take place."
Headteacher Huw Jones said the final week of term would be taught remotely.
"All children who attended Guilsfield School and the Guilsfield Playgroup yesterday (Tuesday) need to self-isolate for 10 days, with the first day being July 6," he told parents in a letter.
"This means that the last day of isolation will be Friday, July 16, as long as no-one in the household develops Covid-19 symptoms."
