A whole year group at a Powys secondary school has been told to self-isolate for 10 days following a positive case of coronavirus.
Year nine pupils who attend Ysgol Bro Hyddgen in Machynlleth have been told to self-isolate until Monday, July 12.
Pupils who travel on the Llanbrynmair school bus must also stay at home and learn remotely.
Ysgol Bro Hyddgen added that work will continue on Microsoft Teams during the self-isolation period.
The secondary school announced the important notice on its website and social media pages on Saturday afternoon (July 3).
Important Notice - Following a COVID case, all Year 9 Pupils and those that travelled on the Llanbrynmair School Bus must stay home and self isolate until Monday 12th July 2021. Work will continue on Teams during this period.
