Police officers say a drunk driver has recorded what may be their highest ever roadside breath test reading - nearly six times over the legal limit.
Officers made the stop in Borth over the weekend after receiving a call from a member of the public.
When tested at the roadside the driver recorded 198mg/100ml of breath - In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the alcohol limit for drivers is 35mg/100ml of breath.
He was subsequently arrested.
On Sunday, Ceredigion Roads Policing tweeted:
"1054- (call) from public, vehicle all over the road #Borth. Vehicle stopped by police. Driver blew possibly our highest reading of 198, arrested.
