POLICE in south Powys are urging witnesses to come forward following a collision that landed two people in hospital.

A man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving following the incident, which occurred just after 10am on Wednesday, May 12, in Ystradgynlais.

Ystradgynlais Police tweeted: “We are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision on the All Blacks roundabout, Gurnos Road, in Ystradgynlais, at around 10.10am on Wednesday, 12 May.

“Two people were taken to hospital following the collision.

“A man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or have any dashcam footage is asked to contact PC 523 Humphreys at Ystradgynlais Police Station, quoting reference DP-20210512-060.”
