MORE rules are set to be changed as Wales leaves lockdown further behind.

Since winning a majority Government in the recent elections, Welsh Labour will continue to handle the national approach to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mark Drakeford MS will continue with his cautious approach out of lockdown that has recently allowed outdoor hospitality to serve customers as well as gyms and shops to reopen.

The next review is due to take place this week on Thursday, May 13, with some details already released with what could be allowed.

From May 17, it is hoped that all Welsh hospitality venues will be able to reopen for indoor service. This lines up with rules across the border in England too.

Its also good news for tourism sector ahead of the summer months as indoor accommodation, including hotels, hostels and B&B’s, should also reopen from this date.

Indoor attractions, including cinemas, bowling alleys and theatres, will be able to welcome visitors back for the first time this year too.

Soft play centres are also scheduled to reopen on May 17.

Many rules were brought forward due to the declining level of COVID-19 cases identified across Wales in recent months.

Join us on Thursday, May 13, for all the updates as they are released by Welsh Government officially.
