Caernarfon Town 0 TNS 2
TNS maintained their place at the summit with victory at Caernarfon Town tonight.
The sides proved evenly matched at the Oval with a tightly contested opening yielding few openings.
The home side had the best chance on 24 minutes with Sion Bradley testing TNS goalkeeper Paul Harrison.
The Saints were for the most part muted and struggled to create any clear chances.
Adrian Cieslewicz blasted over on the stroke of half-time, summing up an under whelming first-half display from the Saints.
Caernarfon started the second-half brightly with Bradley lashing over before Mike Hayes' shot appeared to strike the arm of TNS defender Ryan Astles though the referee waved away appeals for a penalty.
Cieslewicz fired wide before Hayes went close at the other end.
However it was the visitors who broke the deadlock on 66 minutes with Louis Robles cutting the ball back to Greg Draper to finish from close range
Caernarfon's efforts to get back in the game received a blow when Noah Edwards saw red after pulling back Jamie Mullan on the edge of the area with 10 minutes remaining.
TNS capitalised with Chris Marriott rattling the crossbar with the free-kick and Blaine Hudson on hand to tap home the rebound.
