NATURAL Resources Wales (NRW) confirmed it dealt with a pollution incident at a Powys river on Friday.
NRW confirmed on Twitter it was called to a tributary on the River Ithon to a ‘pollution incident’.
The impact of the situation at the river will be monitored following the incident.
A tweet posted by NRW read: “NRW responded to a pollution incident yesterday evening (April 16) in a tributary on the River Ithon.
“Officers successfully identified the source and have worked with the land owner to address the pollution.
“We will continue to assess the situation today and will monitor the impact following this incident.”
