THE tale of one Llanwrtyd Wells resident's battle against litterers will feature on BBC One Wales on Tuesday, April 27.

Comedian and presenter Tudur Owen is back to delve into the BBC archives for another week of Tudur’s TV Flashback.

In this episode, to be screened at 8.30pm, Tudur explores the rich tapestry of different communities across Wales.

One Llanwrtyd Wells resident found that littering around his hometown was spoiling his enjoyment of the area, so he decided to do something about it.

Each day he would go out with a litter picker and a black bag, cleaning any litter off the streets as he walked around town, which led to him gaining the nickname ‘Rob The Rubbish’.

Not content with just helping out his community, he even decided to climb Ben Nevis to help remove any rubbish left there, and has plans to return at least twice a year.

Other archive clips include a charity jalopy race in Swansea and a parade of jazz bands marching through their local village carnivals.
