It was extremely distressing to read in the County Times of 2nd April that 16,000 hens were burnt alive in a fire at a chicken rearing unit.
It has also been extremely disappointing that despite being advised that for the benefit of not causing harm to wildlife the developers of the Crematorium refuse to remove the netting they have placed on hedgerows.
Is it not about time that all interests in Montgomeryshire find more humane ways in which to manage and treat birds and animals?
