A walker was airlifted to hospital by the HM Coastguard after they were injured in the uplands near Llangynog.
North East Wales Search and Rescue Team was called to a report of an injured person on Easter Sunday (April 4).

"It soon became clear that the stretcher carry would be very long and it was in the casualties best interest to be evacuated more swiftly," the search and rescue team said.
"We therefore requested assistance from HM Coastguard and the aircraft from Caernarfon picked up the casualty and took them to hospital."
