THE First Minister of Wales has revealed he hopes to unveil a schedule of 'loosened' Covid-19 restrictions up to mid-April during his next public address.
Mark Drakeford will also announce any immediate changes made to lockdown restrictions in Wales on Friday.
In an interview with Newyddion S4C this morning, Mr Drakeford said the Government now has an opportunity to 'loosen' restrictions but will do so without damaging any efforts or progress made to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases over the last few weeks.
He als hoped to give 'more certainty' to the lives and businesses of Welsh residents in the next six weeks to come.
Mr Drakeford added: "What I want to do on Friday is to give a timetable for the next three weeks but more than that too, to say something about what we expect to do over Easter and into the middle of April.
"Further than that, I think it is impossible to say for definite, because it depends on the context we're facing at that time.
"But I do want to give more certainty to people in their lives, and in their businesses where we can, and to do that not just for the next three weeks, but on to halfway through April."
