Coronavirus vaccinations will start in Llanfair Caereinion next week, the town's medical practice has announced.
From Monday, January 25, staff at Llanfair Caereinion Medical Practice are set to begin vaccinating patients with pre-booked appointments.
People have been asked not to attend a covid vaccination clinic unless they have an appointment.
The practice said it is in the process of contacting people aged between 75 and 79 about their coronavirus jab. They added that anyone over the age of 80 or aged between 70 and 74 will be asked to attend the mass vaccination centre at Maldwyn Leisure Centre in Newtown.
A practice spokesperson said: "Thank you for your ongoing co-operation and understanding as we endeavor to facilitate the delivery of the Covid vaccination to our patients swiftly, efficiently and safely."
