Recycling boxes in some areas of north Powys will not be emptied today (Tuesday) due to difficulties at the Welshpool depot.
Powys County Council's Waste and Recycling Service said extra recycling will be taken by crews next week to make up for the missed collection.
The affected areas include Llanfechain, Llanfihangel, Llanfyllin, Sarnau, Arddleen, Trelystan, Forden, Leighton, Brooks, Pentrebeirdd and Long Mountain.
A spokesperson for the Waste and Recycling Service said: "We are still experiencing some vehicle difficulties in our Welshpool depot. Unfortunately, this means that some recycling boxes won’t be emptied today (Tuesday) this week as planned.
"Extra recycling will be taken next week to make up for the missed collection. If essential, excess recycling can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre, or your community recycling site.
"Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding."
It is the second day that some recycling boxes have not been collected in the area.
Collections in the Gungrog Hill, Borfa Green, Maes Owen, Erw Wen, Delwood Drive and all other estates in Welshpool will now take place next week.
Crews will return next week for extra collections in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Llangedwyn, Llansilin, Rhos y Brithdir, Maesgwynedd, Llangedwyn Rural, Mynydd Mawr and Pedair Ffordd and along with lanes in the area.
