Businesses in Powys that prefer managing their finances online can pay their Business Rates through the council's website.
'My Account', which is part of the Powys County Council website, helps businesses view their bill and set up - or make changes to - a payment online.
Powys County Council Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Finance, Councillor Aled Davies said: “Many of our businesses like the ease of managing their financial affairs online and we are offering them the opportunity to do the same when paying their Business Rates.
“The Powys ‘My Account’ is already proving popular, but in the future we hope that many more of our ratepayers will use it, as we believe it will help them keep on top of their bills and, once further updates have been made, it will also allow them to quickly notify us of a change in circumstances.”
Businesses in Powys will need to register or login to their Powys ‘My Account’ before making any changes.
They will then be asked to add details to their account profile, such as name, address, email and Business Rates reference number.
Payments can be made online using a credit or debit card.
