THERE will be a meeting this afternoon about pupils returning to schools in Powys, Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School has said.
Nine education unions have called on the Welsh Government to give a “centralised, coherent response” to the reopening of schools following concerns about the new strain of coronavirus.
In a social media post, the school said: "No decision has been made by the Local Authority about opening to children.
"There is a further meeting at 4pm after which we hope to inform you of a final decision.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however the decision is out of our hands and lies with the County. Thank you for your patience."
