A 41-year-old driver who failed to stop for police near Machynlleth has been arrested.
North Wales Policing Unit said the man was eventually stopped and arrested near Dolgellau after failing to stop for Dyfed-Powys Police officers near Dyfi Bridge last night.
Police said the driver failed a breath and drugs test, was found to be in possession of cannabis, had no insurance and was driving with a provisional licence.
In a tweet, North Wales Policing Unit said: "A 41-yr-old man arrested nr #Dolgellau last night after failing to stop for @DyfedPowys nr Dyfi Bridge. We found & stopped the car".
