By the time this comes out in print I hope that the UK Government and the EU will have concluded a trade deal, writes Hugh Besent.

No doubt the election of Joe Biden in the USA will concentrate the minds of our government negotiators since Mr Biden’s roots are in Ireland, he is a strong supporter of the EU and NATO and is less protectionist than Donald Trump.

We, in the Dyfi valley, are being subjected to proposed reintroduction of beavers which have not lived here for hundreds of years.

It seems to me that locals to the castle near Abergele are not overly worried and are embracing the potential gains to the local economy.

Perhaps it is time that big name opinion makers have more respect for local people and not dictate their ideas to them.

Let us ordinary people enjoy watching so called celebrities out of their comfort zone.
