A Newtown school has won a very special prize through BBC Children in Need - a PE lesson with The Body Coach Joe Wicks.
Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd was one of 10 schools from across the UK to win the prize which was a Zoom session with the fitness guru.
A Key Stage Two pupil at the Welsh-medium primary school described the lesson on November 25 as “fantastic”.
“I really enjoyed and can’t believe he mentioned our school!”
The prize also included a teacher tea break for each winning school which consisted of mugs, teas and confectionary.
An Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd spokesperson said: “What a fantastic and energetic morning.
“Our Key Stage 2 children had a great experience, keeping fit live with the one and only Joe Wicks!
“We even had a shoutout at the beginning of the session and both children and staff thoroughly enjoyed taking part.”
Joe Wicks raised more than £2.5million for Children in Need after taking part in a 24-hour PE challenge.
