Trehafren hill, near Newtown Football Club (Open Newtown)
A CONTROLLED fire will take place at Trehafren Hill in Newtown today.
Open Newtown confirmed the fire would take place to burn waste and brash and to clear the path network on the hill.
A tin sheet will be used to minimise fire damage.
