Co-op has opened a new food store in Wrexham following a £650,000 investment.
The retailer has relocated to the bus station in Lord Street with its new 2,500 sq ft shop more than double the size of its previous one nearby.
Following an official opening on Friday (Noveber 27), the store will be open between 6am and 10pm daily.
Catrin Thomas, Co-op area manager, said: “We have had a great response – we are delighted to have had the opportunity to make such a significant investment in Wrexham – our new, larger, store has a great look and feel.
"We have worked to develop and increase the range, choice, products and services that will create a really compelling offer locally to serve our community.
“Co-op is committed to connecting communities and making a difference locally, and to operating at the heart of local life.
"That is why we also want customers to know that they can become a Member of the Co-op.
"In addition to unlocking additional value and personalised offers, our Members make a difference to local causes, with Co-op now donating two per cent to community causes every time a Member swipes their Membership card when buying own branded products.”
