THREE people have been left with ‘serious injuries’ following a crash in Deeside this weekend, police confirm.

Officers were called to the High Street area of Connah’s Quay shortly before 9pm on Saturday, November 28.

The road was closed off for hours whilst emergency services dealt with the three cars involved.

It was confirmed by police that three people suffered “serious injuries” following the collision - two of which are currently in Aintree Hospital.

The police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and help with their enquires.

A spokesman for the Roads Policing Unit of North Wales Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a three vehicle RTC on the High Street in Deeside involving a black Vauxhall Zafira, a black Renault Clio and a white Peugeot 108.

“We are also appealing for anybody who may have been travelling in the area which may have seen or have CCTV/Dash camera footage of any of the above vehicles in the area at the time.

“Anybody with information is asked to contact officers on the Roads Policing Unit quoting reference Y174933.”
