A DRUGS warrant in Newtown proved to be negative, police have confirmed.
On Friday police carried out a warrant at an address in Newtown which was undertaken by the Montgomeryshire Neighbourhood Policing Team.
They were acting on a tip-off from members of the public, but the force has confirmed the warrant proved negative and no arrests were made.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "A drugs warrant was conducted at an address in Newtown on Friday, 20 November, by Montgomeryshire NPT following information received from the public.
"The warrant was negative."
