A NEW builders merchants has moved into the former G and T Evans site at Dulas Mill on Mochdre Lane in Newtown

Newtown Building Supplies (NBS) began moving to the site in the summer.

Tom Harris, of NBS, says the team are all settled in on the Mochdre Industrial Estate, and as well as building supplies, sells safety clothing and pet food, as well as a delivery service.

He said: “We are a new independently ran building supplies that opened earlier this year we are situated on the industrial estate.

“We stock an all-round range of building materials for trade or DIY, to include treated and untreated timber, PSE, posts and rails, different types of garden panels and all types of plyboards.”

He said: “We cater for all types of building projects from the ground up, blocks and bricks, insulation, and all the cements and aggregates to go with it.

“We carry a wide range of slabs and decorative gravels too, which can be bought in 25kg bags, loose or in a bulk bag, can arrange any quantity of aggregates and decorative stones anything up to 20 ton loads direct.

“We carry a large range of agricultural stock fencing and rails, stocking a range of creosoted fencing equipment and also UC4 tanalised, we also keep the netting and barb. We keep a range of galvanised and timber gates for any farm or equestrian job. Also we stock a range of land drain, twin wall and MDPE pipes, with all the fittings to match.“We have all sorts of tools and consumables, for a wide range of jobs with far too many to list.

“We keep a range safety clothing and also some dog, cat, horse, and chicken feed to keep your working animals happy and healthy.

“We offer a delivery service around Newtown and surrounding areas and with three sizes of vehicle we can cater for all jobs to ensure we delivery your materials on time.”
