Tregynon councillors have requested for more police intervention due to continual problems with speeding vehicles in the village.
An annual report by Tregynon Community Council stated that speed watches have not taken place for some time and speeding vehicles, including tractors, have been noted continually. However, councillors have praised the positive effect that the electronic signs have had in Tregynon.
The report added that a communications mast at Tynybryn on the southern outskirts of the village that caused concern from some parts of the community had been installed.
Improvements to the village playground had been planned for some time, but despite a contractor being agreed owing to the lockdown, work has been delayed.
