AN ELDERLY man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital following a car crash near Newtown on Thursday morning, October 15.
The accident happened on the A489 between Sarn and Kerry, involving a man in his 80s. It closed the road for a short time with diversions put in place.
Dyfed Powys Police said: “We were called to a single-vehicle collision on the A489 near Sarn at around 10.50am.
“The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 80s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. The vehicle was recovered and we left the scene at around 1pm.”
Fire crews from Montgomery were also mobilised to the scene in order to secure the scene.
