A YOUNG girl was rescued after suffering a serious lower leg injury at the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall near Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant on Saturday.
The North East Wales Search and Rescue Team received a call from Dyfed Powys Police sometime on Saturday afternoon, informing them to assist a young girl with a serious lower leg injury at the waterfall.
The Wales Air Ambulance attended as well and the casualty was transported by Land Rover until she could be handed over to Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust.
